I am enjoying this beautiful sabbath as I get to ponder on the blessings my Father has poured out upon me, he has blessed me with wonderful women in my life, examples of strength, love, virtue, patience, kindness, compassion, forgiveness and always reassurance that I am not in this alone. As there are so many times I feel like a failure in my efforts as a mother I turn inside and turn to scriptures and even many times I turn to memories of women in my life, I strive to learn how to be better, how to nurture, how to show the pure love of Christ and how to be that better example to my children, it’s so hard sometimes to not let my negative thoughts consume me and how I choose to respond, I am trying to see myself the way my Father and Mother in heaven see me. They believed in me enough to send these beautiful souls to my life, I have this divine gift of motherhood, it is a part of who I am and who I have prepared to be so many years of my life. I am striving to be worthy of this calling and gift. I feel like I am struggling to be truly balanced in all areas, I want to focus on each individual area of my life to see the way I effect my children. I don’t know how I impact them sometimes, I don’t know everything, but I am praying and studying and striving daily, even every moment in my heart I pray that I may show up the way my family needs and Longs for. Ad the day went on I began to ponder these questions, Am I a woman of good character? How do they see me? Am I honest and upright in Gods eyes? What do I focus on? I am learning so much and am trying so hard. I am here for a purpose, it is by divine design that I am here, that I meet the people I meet, that I’m the mother to the children that I have. Our father is guiding us by divine design in the smallest of details to every large decision That we make. He will guide my path if I will call on him for help. Mother’s Day is a special tradition to honor mothers, remember your mother, express love and appreciation through the sincerity of your heart. As I wonder the difference I make, I just look at my children and the people around me and see who needs me and who I am meant to be with, I then just strive to recognize Gods hand and will in my life. I am thankful to be here, for the words of encouragement I have received today and for the time with family that has uplifted my soul and brought renewed gratitude for the many blessings which I receive daily. #fromhairtosoul #lifebyemily #mothersday #motherhoodisagift #sabbathday #becauseofhim #blessed
