We climb mountains to see not to be seen.

So much love and power comes when I learn to not just think about what I want or what I think is best, but instead think about how I can benefit someone else and how I can get outside of myself and learn what my higher power really yearns for me to have, to be and to share. So I can see what lies ahead in a way that I can’t always see without inspiration and without clear lenses. I read this quote this morning that said “do not climb the mountains to be seen of the world, but instead climb the mountains to see the world”. Isn’t that a great saying? we don’t climb these mountains or go through our trials or get over the stumbling blocks and do all of these things so that everyone can see what we have done or overcome, but instead so that we can see what more we can do so that we can see what the world has to offer, what God has to offer, what our life has to offer, to be able to see what we are meant to do to make a difference not to be seen, but for us to see. A while ago, well I should say years ago, I wrote a song that says something about not being able to see, it was all about seeing my purpose and understanding more, truly seeing what I was meant to become. I wrote about how I wanted some specific direction to tell me exactly where to go, what to do and how to do it, asking my higher power to just give me the specific directions instead of having to choose for myself because sometimes it’s easier if we have something specific to guide us though I realize now how vital it is to make our own decisions to choose for ourselves the direction that we will go to rely on our higher power to help us and guide us but also rely on ourselves to make that decision, to take a path that we feel is right, to choose what we want in this life, to be free and then to become more confident and happy and empowered because we made the decision on our own and we learned from mistakes along the way or we learned what was best during that experience, this journey is what brings true success, peace and happiness, it’s up to us to recognize what works and doesn’t work, to see through clear lenses the best path to take, the way I have a clearer vision is to wholly relying on my higher power, allowing the choices I make to be aligned with what is good and righteous, to submit to the will of my father in Heaven who Is my higher power and trust that he knows better than I do the journey I am meant to take and the people I’m meant to touch. We are not alone on this path, climbing these mountains, we are here to strengthen and help one another, that when we fall someone is there to lend a hand, to help us up and sometimes when we feel alone if we keep moving forward and just look around we may see someone ahead waiting to help, sometimes we just have to yell and cry and call out and ask if someone hears us, ask for someone to come and rescue us, many times in my life when I felt alone I’ve had to call out and ask if someone is there and ask for help and reach for a hand that has been there the whole time I just didn’t recognize it.
