I am My own best friend

I decided I would share some of my daily affirmations and inner work I’ve been doing. It’s hard to get to know myself and to do some of the work, so when I actually take time to listen and learn I become my own best friend every day. I feel I no longer need validation from outside sources for my confidence, knowing my strengths and believing in myself has freed me from so much doubt, self degradation, and fear. I am still a work in progress, but with the tools available to me and the time I take daily in self care I have found strength in consistency of the every day. I love being a wife and mother and feel that taking care of me allows me to better take care of them.

I will keep pressing forward, I want to keep finding the solution, I am working on achieving greatness, I am focused, I can do great things, I may not see the answers right now, but there are always answers, I am a problem solver, I am blessed with the ability to help people that they may see their true self and the beauty within. I am passionate, I am constant, I am diligent, I am capable, I am intuitively guided, I choose what is best for me and my life, I know exactly what I want and have faith in how to get it, I work hard, I am intelligent, I am thin and fit and know how to take care of myself, I take responsibility for my thoughts, feelings and actions, I am brave, I am a spiritual being, I love me, I am grateful for all the abundance that flows easily into my life. I am a loving wife and mother, I am doing the best I know how. There is hope for greater things to come, there is peace after the storm, there is love during the lonely times. There is a constant in my life who makes all these things true, Jesus Christ is my constant, he is my light and my life, he is truly the only way I carry on, if I were to rely only on me I would fall short every time and always feel disappointed and overwhelmed, I’m not alone, he is always there for me when I take the time to invite him in and seek his help.
